In the theory of Marxism, the withering away of the state and the money behind it is a natural process due to public self-awareness. However, if the state disappears right now, without any prerequisites, then all state institutions will die with it (for example, the police, courts, other government agencies). In this case, chaos will begin not only within the country, but also everywhere, since the state is now a participant in international relations, having its own status in the international arena. It is important to underline that devastation and lawlessness will be the expected consequences, since society is not developed to such an extent where morality and legal norms are automated. In other words, society in any case needs control by an independent apparatus. At a minimum, this is due to the presence of social classes and economic mechanisms. While a currency on its own would be meaningless without a government, goods would retain their value and the poor would not be deterred by any factor.
Ultimately, this will lead to skirmishes, killings and defeat, which will leave small groups of people with the most opportunities and resources. Only the state with its pyramid of statuses gives meaning to people’s lives, and without this people will lose the motive for any constructive activity. In addition, with the disappearance of the state, people will not cooperate in any way to organize a comfortable life in a settlement (municipality) with a mutually beneficial division of labor and functions. Almost all people will give up all constructive activities (work, trade, freelancing and other constructive business), because only the state gives them a motive to do something socially useful.
